Hi there! I hope you all had a great Easter! We threw our first party at our new home...we had a full house, it was a great time, then we all got freaked out because there was a huge earthquake! It lasted about a minute and it was pretty scary, but nothing got damaged and no one was hurt, thank God! It's crazy how we felt it though, b/c it was in Mexico and we are miles and miles away! Well hopefully there wont be any more any time soon!
So onto the cards!...this one I made for my husband's bday..I found this playing card lying around in my scrap-junk-pile and I thought he would like the sentiment on it (and he did!)...I also embossed the 'enjoy the journey' with my distressing powder. It's always so hard to make those 'man' cards, but I think I did an ok job.
And this card was made for a girlfriend who just got married. I used the Sweethearts cart. for the bride and groom, added some pearls and ribbon. I have about 4 more weddings to go to this year so I need to make a few more of these..TFL!

Love the cards! I spent years of my younger life reading older periodicals and that card is a great one! A manly card, yes, but I like it too. (Paraphrased from a very very old series of Irish Spring Commercials from the 70s, probably on YouTube now lol.)
The wedding card is gorgeous, I love the background paper. TFS : )
beautiful cards!
Hilarious! I so love those Taintor cards. Glad your hubby thought it was funny too. The wedding card is gorgeous. Love how it's just the outfits and congrats on your first party in your new home! What fun! xxD
