BBTB2-Life's A Beach Challenge

It's time for another challenge over at BBTB2..this week the DT was asked to use the Leaf1 cut from Life's A Beach cartridge. We could use any cut from that page. I used the 'escape' sentiment because I've always loved  it. I got so lucky and found this bamboo looking paper in my stash, and it just worked out perfect! I wanted a beachy feel, so I added the flowers and the fibers also.
I cut a tag from Plantin Schoolbook for the cute little sandals stamp. And added the little green buttons to the flowers.
I dug out my old shaped scissors for the edge of the tag and colored in the stamp just with a white gelly pen. I'm definitely not a copic pro! LOL

Thanks for taking a look..make sure to check out the BBTB2 blog for more great ideas from the amazing DT!

Oh, I just love it! The fibers remind me of beach grass and this definitely has a beachy feel to it. I should dig out those shaped scissors... they sure would come in handy!

This is just adorable, Joanna. I am so drawn to long cards. Love how you added that sentiment and it draws your eye in to all the other attentions to detail you've added.
