Hi everyone!
We are on day 3 now! woohoo! I loooved reading about everyone's favorite animals yesterday! I think the most unique animal I heard was someone's fav was an alpaca! I never would have thought of those! lol..So I think my favorite animal is a deer, I just love how calm and mellow they are and of course I love Bambi!
Ok onto today's project. I decided to make a Christmas layout. I am waaaaay behind on my scrapbooking, so I thought I would have a little heard start for next year, I used the Jolly Holidays cartridge for all of the cuts..take a look..
I love that little candy cane brad! ;)
I also used the PK-Princess Face assort. for the cute little girl.
I used my scallop punch for the border.
I used my label maker for the date:
I hope you like it! I usually like to use sketches when I make my layouts because it makes my life much easier! :) I got my inspiration from the Dec. 2010 PageMaps sketch.

Beautiful layout!!! I am trying to catch up a little on my scrapbooking this week! I love to do cards and scrapbook layouts...but I think I enjoy cards just a little bit more, because I am so behind on my scrapbooks I feel I will never catch up, where when I finish a card - it is one thing that I can put behind me as COMPLETED!!!

I love the layout that you made. I however much prefer to make cards. My kids don't keep up with the scrapbooks that I have made for them.
They do keep up with the cards that I have made for them though.

This question is a really easy one for me....I love two page layouts the best. Cards are faster, but I agree with you that page maps is the way to go. Love your layout and so jealouse that you have Jolly Holiday cartridge. I was not able to get this one.....:(

What a sweet family holiday photo! And your layout is just darling! I am definitely a card maker. Although I started out five years ago saying I was just going to make my girls a family recipe album, filled with photos, family recipes and journaling ... that I wasn't going to get sucked up into the papercraft world - well, five years later here I am and papercrafting is my PASSION. Love making handmade cards to share with family and friends. I even make cards for our local humane society's gift shop to help raise dollars for our furry friends. For now I like to scrapbook but I am getting more into card making. It's just such fun to make something and share it. Right now I am scrapping everything for our daughters baby book. I have her ultrasounds pics, hospital bracelets, every birthday card. I even have pockets for video discs of her.

Looking at your layout makes me want to scrapbook more. I did an awesome book for my son for Christmas--he completed his first Ironman (142 mi. swimming, biking, running) in July. He was so happy with it. It included the special cards I made for him for each event. So I love to make special cards,tool.

Such a great layout again. I abosultely love the colors and the way you encorporated the becky fleck page maps sketch, for some reason I have a hard time with her stuff. well trying to figure out where I want the cricut cuts to go but you did a fantanstastic job. Love it!
I used to be a scrapbooker, I didn't even ever make a card until spring of this past year, but I've been scrapbooking forever. now adays it seems that I make alot of cards because they are quicker and with my daughter running around like crazy it's hard to find the time to make a layout. it sometimes takes me all day because i never have a solid block of time to work on it.
I would love to get back to my scrapbooking. hopefully soon, I still haven't done my daugher's first birthday party pictures. It's a shame too :(

Oh my what a tuff question! I started out scrapbooking. I have have 2 girls, age 12 and 8, I cant begin to even tell you how far behind I am. I just started making cards a few months ago and love it. I made 50 Christmas cards to send out. I guess I like it bc it doesnt take as long as a LO, quicker gratification! But I do need to get back to LO's this year.

I enjoy making page layouts more then cards. Mostly i enjoy the gratification of completing an other layout and using the supplies.
I enjoy making cards more. Cards are faster to make and are easier to create (for me at least!) With a scrapbook page I REALLY have to think about placement and embellishments!

I love making both. I make pages for my daughters' albums and I love the satisfaction of making cards. The satisfaction is much faster the way I craft. Type A personalities shouldn't also be crafty...LOL.

Thats a tough question, I love doing anything paper crafty but tend to do more cards than layouts. Only b/c they seem to take less time and I can complete a card quicker than a layout. I do need to step it up and do a lot more layouts. My pictures are mounting and need attention

I love your layout!! Such cute details!! I have been making too much cards and I definitely need to go back to Layouts. You said that you wish she would've smile, I have discovered with my daughter that the day that she looks like a princess and her hair is done she is grumpy or the pictures are blurry or something happens that the photos don't look that good.
