6 Days of Giveaways-Day 4

Hi everyone!
We are on day 4 now of my giveaway week! Today is a special day because it is my actual 1 year blog anniversay! Yay! Happy blogaversary to me! lol! :)
A year ago, I sat down at my computer and I just said  to myself, "Self, it's time to start a blog!" and here I am today a whole year later! Blogging has been so much fun, I love sharing my projects online with so many wonderful people! Thank you to everyone who has made this crafting adventure so much better!

Ok, let's get to today's project and giveaway! I made another scrapbook layout! I'm telling you, I really REALLY need to get caught up! This page is done with pictures from the very begining of this year (Jan. 2010). This was the 1st snowfall of the year and Natalie's 1st trip to the snow (she was only 2 months old). We are lucky because my inlaws live in the mountains, so we always have a place to stay when it snows..and I absolutely LOVE the snow ((except when I have to shovel it! lol))..
The title was cut from the Winter Woodland cartridge. And I actually did a little bit of journaling and if you zoom in you can see I stamped the title "There's Snow one like you!" from the 'Winter Wishes' stamp set by Scrappy Mom's.

I used the Snow Friends cartridge for this snow-girl and I used the PK-Happy Lashes face assortment.

I stamped the little trees and added some Icicle stickles to make it look like snow. I used white glitter paper for the snowflakes (those are from a Fiskars punch).

I love this little car with the tree tied to the roof on the pattern paper, I thought it was so cute! The paper is by We are Memory Keepers.
I hope you like my layout! And for those of you who love to scrapbook more than making cards, I hope you get caught up this new year! I'm glad I'm not the only one who is behind! ;)

Ok, on to today's giveaway! I am giving away one of my favorite things..a PINK Gypsy cover! I have one just like it! If you haven't noticed, pink is my favorite color and I couldn't live without my Gypsy, so I like to keep it protected! ;)

For your chance to win, just leave ONE comment and tell me if you have a Gypsy and how much you love it! :)

Thanks for stopping by! See ya tomorrow!

She is such a cute Snow Baby!

P.S. I used this sketch from My Little Sketch Blook.

P.P.S. Remember you can go back to any of my giveaways this week if you haven't yet and enter a comment!

P.P.P.S. Remember to mark your calendars for New Year's Day ( Sat. Jan. 1st) that's when the BIG blog hop starts! 'Let's Celebrate' Blog Hop! You don't want to miss it!!!!!!

What a super nice LO. Love the PK Snow baby!! I have to purchase those eyelashes!!! I too think the car with the tree is super cute. I love LOs more than cards (don't tell anyone-- I keep telling myself that!) Anytime I think of creating something with Cricut, I grab my Gypsy... later if I know that it will be cut at a, say 4" than I just use my Expression, but if I want to get creative..., I have to have the Gypsy

Great layout! Love the colors. As far my Gypsy goes, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I just got it a couple of months ago and can't live without it now. I actually borrowed a cart the other day and had to manually plug it in to my Cricut, and was really suffering...ha ha. So, one of my favorite features is all the carts and handbooks being stored there - then you just plug and cut.

Joanna,

Wow! Another great layout...you go, girl!!! :) I am impressed! I came super close to buying a book on sketches/layouts from Amazon. I think it would motivate me to scrap more (the only other hard part is choosing which few pictures-out of the hundreds I take-I would use).

Believe it or not, I don't have a Gypsy (& Santa wasn't that good to me)! ;) I almost went on a shopping spree of Cricut cartridges in the hopes of having enough reward points to get the Gypsy at Cricut.com, but for some reason, I had restraint! Maybe next sale...

Oh, gosh! I almost forgot! HAPPY BLOGAVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe you've only been at it a year and here you are with almost 1,100 followers and you're on lots of design teams!!!!!!!!!! With talent like yours, though, it isn't the least bit surprising!!! ;)

Thank you so much for sharing and for the chance to win,

I still use my Design Studio and "love" it and I think it's mainly the screen size. I use my G for simpler things since I have a tendency to do pretty detailed layouts and I can just maneuver DS a bit better when I can see it, LOL! And I still don't have a dress for my G so she's running around naked, oopps, lol!

Wow I love that sketch it's so fantastic. FOr that slanted stack of photos do you just print all that on your computer. I am always pretty wary of using sketches because I just dont know how to get my photos in those sizes that they ask for. Any help advice you have for that would be greatly appreciated. I currently print most of my photos that I scrapbook on my printer because it's pretty cheap and convient for me.

I do love my gypsy but I am currently having some issues with provocraft. my gypsy was having issues switching between laters so I sent it back and the replacement they sent me wasn't serialized with my old gypsy serial number so I couldn't link my cartridges. so I have to wait again to be able to use it. Sigh!!! But i do love it and it makes crafting so easy to be able to plan the layouts and that's how I do all of my cards from sketches I kind of recreate the card sketch in my gypsy using squares..etc and then I just add whatever cuts i want.

Once again great job my friend, I love everything you did on this layout. I have that paper from we are memory keepers and you inspired me to create a layout with it. I will have to go check out that sketches you linked to :)

let me know about the photos.

Precious, all bundled up like that and your layout is adorable! I'm really a DS girl. I only got a gypsy (for free with rewards) because of the Imagine and I actually haven't used either yet so I guess the verdict is still out. LOL xxD

I love your layout. I do have a Gypsy and I love it. I could name a lot of reasons why...search function, hide function, fits in my purse, able to save projects, able to use items from several cartridges at once, the layer function, and so many more.

I received a gyspy for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I think I use more of my carts because they are all in one location and easy to look up.

Thanks

I really like your layout. I have not ventured into making layouts as of yet, but it is definitely something that I would like to begin to do. I've had my gypsy for almost a year now and I absolutely LOVE it! I initially only used it for things I was making for my classroom but now I use it to help in making cards as well.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful talents!
