My blue eyed girl

Hey again! This is my 2nd post for the day..lucky you! :)
For my BIG giveaway post click HERE or scroll down!

So I'm back because I couldn't wait to share this layout I finished up yesterday. I recently got the PageMaps 2 book (I have the 1st one and LOVE it!), this book has tons of inspiration, lots and lots of sketches to build layouts and cards. I definitely recomend it to anyone needing some mojo help!
So my layout today was inspired by one of the many sketches found in the book, and because I just stocked up on some new scrappin' goodies I HAD to break 'em in!

-My Blue Eyed Girl-

LOVE this page! One of my favies!

To start this LO I used a 12x12 piece of white cardstock, I spritz the background with blue (Patina) glimmer mist. I cut all of the squares in 2x2 pieces and rounded the corners. I embossed the blue on the left side and sanded the circles (love that effect!).  I love using those big Prima flowers on my pages, I get mine from Michaels...the brads, flair, & 'sweet' sticker (on top center)  are from the Dear Lizzy collection by American Crafts.

I actually did some journaling *patting myself on the back*..I never know what to add in my journaling so I usually don't do it, but I think I will TRY to start that way Natalie will have something to read about these photos when she is older. :)

I hope you like it, it's one of my faves!

Supplies:
Pattern Paper-Echo Park-Spring Time
Peachy Keen Stamps-Princess Facess
Cricut carts-Baby Steps, Simply Sweet (title)
Stickers-Cosmo Cricket (H is for Happiness)
Dear Lizzy-'Sweet'
Misc.-glimmer mist, brads, flair, flowers, twine, border punch, Cuttlebug, stapler, corner punch

LOVE your page! You did an awesome job. I have to ask, which came first? The cute pic of the sweetie in the pigtails, or did you copy the hairdo just to use that darling diecut? Either way, both are adorable! And you are very wise to add the journaling. It is tedious sometimes, but will mean a lot to your sweetie many years down the road.
Thank you for sharing! :)

Adorable! Which peachy keen stamp did you use on the cute little girl? Was it the princess faces?
