Hi everyone! Today is a good day because it is Let's Face it Friday at the Peachy Keen Stamps challenge blog.
The theme this week is to make a handmade Mother's Day gift (it can be anything from a card, scrapbook page or altered item..anything!)..these are my kind of challenges, because I like the freedom to be creative and make whatever I feel like. So I decided to alter a chalkboard as a gift for my dear mom!
This was pretty simple to make, but looks like it took all day. :)
For my faces I used my circle punch and stamped them with the PK-Snow Cuties face assortment and covered each one with MS fine glitter for some bling. I used some bright Prima flowers to match the pattern paper (by Me & My Big Ideas). Then for the final touch I added a few pics of me & my sisters, & my mom & dad and hot glued the twine to the board. I love those little mini clothes pins, they make any project cute! I also used some Tea Dye ink for the edges. I hope you like it!
If you want to join in the challenge with us you will have the chance to win the
Check out what the rest of the DT made HERE.
