Happy Monday everyone! I'm so excited to share with you my very first project as a DESIGNER for BBTB2! This week we were asked to use the card with the 3 flowers from the From My Kitchen cartridge. I decided to use mine as a picture frame...with a pic of Natalie of course! I didn't know what to do with this cut at first, but my sweet hubby gave me this idea..so he gets the credit..lol!
I used the Home Accents cart for the 'grow' and did some inking and added some white dots with my gelly pen. I also used my corner punch to round the edges on the frame.I welded all the words together on my Gypsy, and used the Lyrical Letters cart for the letters. The tag was cut from Plantin Schoolbook and I inked it for an aged look. The flourish is from Home Decor.
For the flowers I used Walk in my Garden for the little red flowers, I used a flower punch for the center one and cut it out from news paper and inked it up. And used big primas and a brad for the center.Well I hope you all enjoyed that! I love the way it came out and I'm planning on framing it! Be sure to stop by BBTB2 to see the great ideas from the Design Team! Thanks for stopping by!

This is so pretty. The attention to detail is fab! OH, and I love the flowers from newspaper print. I used to get books from the library that were in their FREE stack and use those to cut flowers. I haven't done that in forever. Thanks for reminding me how cool it looks!
Joanna--Love how you framed that beautiful little angel of yours with this cut. Fantastic layout. Welcome to the team.
Hugs, Jeri
