Mother's Day Cards

Hello! Happy late Mother's Day to all you wonderful moms! I hope you all enjoyed your day! I was planning on making cards for my sisters, my aunts, my grandmas..but when it came down to it, I only had time to  do one for my mom and  my MIL...lol..it happens, I think we kinda under estimate the time that goes into each card!...When I was making this I asked my mom what her favorite animal was, she said giraffe, which I never would have expected, but it gave me another chance to use Create a Critter!
Isn't that giraffe adorable! Love it!..I used a scallop punch for the edge of the kraft paper and added faux stitching (I really should invest in a sewing machine with all this FAUX stitching going on..lol!).
I also used the Mother's Day cart for the sentiment.

For my MIL's card I used Walk in my Garden for the vases and the heart flowers...
And for the heart flourish I used the Mother's Day cart also, and stamped the sentiment..nice and simple!
Hope you like 'em! Thanks for stopping by, have an awesome day!

love the giraffe card and the colors! I just picked up some new paper and then realizes everything I bought was in the browns, golds and muted shades. it's not even summer and I'm already going for fall!

Happy belated Mother's Day, Jodie! Bet it was extra special being your first official one as a Mom! Your cards are just darling. The giraffe couldn't be cuter, and the bleeding hearts are beautiful! Especially love the flourish! xxD
