Happy Girl Layout-Momenta DT Project

This is my 2nd post for today ((yep, 2 projects in one day! Lucky you!)), scroll down to check out my 1st post. Thanks! :)

Hey there, Happy Friday! Today I'm the host over on the Momenta blog, I've really been enjoying using the fun products. All the kits go together so well! And I'm so happy to have my scrapbooking mojo back, hopefully you all haven't gotten tired of seeing my layouts, lol! But at least I'm 'trying' to get caught up! It's never ending! So here's what I posted....

Hi everyone! Joanna here, today I'm sharing a layout of my little girl, she was about 3 months old here and just the cutest little bundle of joy! Everything on this page is from the Kaleidoscope 12x12 Scrapbook Pad including the awesome textured cardstock. I also embellished with a few clear layered stickers as well as lots of the die-cut flowers, banners and alphas that come in the kit.
The clear layered stickers are such a great way to add lots of dimension to your these!

And a great way to use those alphabet stickers is by making your own titles. I ran the cardstock alphas through  my little Xyron sticker maker and turned them into alphabet stickers..super easy!
I found the "I love you" ribbon in my stash, and was so happy it matched perfectly with the colors on the page.

Check out the awesome texture on the cardstock! To make the designs really stand out, I simply sanded down the top (gently) and viola! I did a bit of distressing the edges..Love the look!

Sometimes when I'm creating scrapbook pages I get stuck I don't know where to begin, that's when I turn to sketches. They are such a big help and you can pretty much put your own spin on them. I used this sketch by Pencil Lines.

Hope you like my page! Have a great Friday! :)
