Trip to the Beach

Hey there! Today over on the Scrappy Mom's blog is the Terrific Tuesday Challenge, this is the challenge that is based on a specific Cricut cartridge or if you don't have that cart feel free to play along with any other similar image! We want everyone to join in and there's always chances to win some stamps too!

This week the challenge was to use the Pack Your Bags cartridge, luckily I just got this one from eBay a few weeks ago, this was my first time breaking it in..it has a ton of cute stuff on it!
Here's a layout I made of my Natalie ((big surprise! lol)), this was last year and it was actually her first time to the Beach and it was too cold and overcast to even touch the water so we snuggled most of the day. I'm not a big fan of journaling but now that I think about it I could have added a few things about that day..maybe I'll just put a note on the back..lol..anywhoo hope you likey! :)

I used some fun Echo Park papers, I really reallly love how bright and colorful this one came out!

This flower is super pretty with the fun patterns!
I squeezed in a Scrappy Mom's sentiment right there on my handtrimmed tag.
((Sentiment if from the "Sun Kissed" stamp set)).
I had to dig out this cute little MarthaStewart whale punch.. I've been hoarding it for the longest time!
The sand castle is a fun stamp like feature on the cart..isn't that too cute!?!
Hand made flower outta cupcake wrappers and hand made button from my Button Studio.
And I used my handy dandy ((I think I've been watching a little too much Blue's Clues these days, if you know what I mean!)) cloud punch  with some Cosmo message stickers and a fun border.
I hope you all can join in the challenge, remember you can always use a defferent cartridge!
And make sure to check out what the rest of the DT has made for some inspiration HERE..also..this Friday (8/12) Scrappy Mom's will be having a Back to School blog hop and there will be some new releases coming your way! So keep an eye out!
