Celebrate ~Dia de los Muertos~ Blog Hop

Hi everyone! I hope you had a fun Halloween yesterday!

We dressed Natalie as a cute little ladybug and took her around town and ended the night with In n' Out burgers and watched Twilight...the perfect night! :)

So we have another thing to celebrate today..and that is Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead for those of you who don't speak spanish (like me! lol)..I was asked to join in by the lovely Scrapbookaholic Abby who is our blog hop host today. I'm sure by now you have learned a bit about Day of the Dead. It is basically a Mexican celebration to pray for and remember loved ones who have died.

The thing I love about this holiday are the bright colors that are involved in every little detail. That's what inspired me for my card today.

I used my favorite Market Street Stamps ~Sweet Spooks~ for the adorable skull girlies and paper pieced them using the Random collection by Crate Paper. I'm kind of obsessed with making rosettes lately, so of course I HAD to add one to my card. The sentiment is from the Birthday Sentiment rub-ons by EAD Designs. I hope you like it! :)
