Scrappy Mom's Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hello everybody!
Today is the Terrific Tuesday Challenge over on the Scrappy Mom's blog. This one runs on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month and there's always a great prize to win!
This week the challenge was to use the Country Life Cricut cartridge..so if you have this one come join us, if you don't have it you can still play along with a similar image!

I had fun with this card..and Peachified it! But one thing I learned is that I NEED to get the SMALL Critter Faces soon! You will notice that only one of my lil' piggies has a real piggy face! lol..so I made it work and used a Princess face and did some paper piecing with my sun and used my handy dandy cloud punches.

Cute? Yes? No?..YES! :D
The pattern papers are by October Afternoon and the sentiment (stamped on the cloud) is from the "Furry Friends" stamp set by Scrappy Mom's.
I used the PK-754 Critter Face assort. for the mama pig and for the baby piggy -the PK-640 Princess face assort..and the sun is the PK-M16 You are my Sunshine. Hope you like it! :)

You can check out what the rest of the DT made and link your projects HERE.

Thanks for stoppin' by!

PKS-Let's Face it Friday-Old School

Hey there! Today is the Let's Face it Friday challenge over on the Peachy Keen Challenge blog. The theme this week is "Old School" -creating a project based on the year you graduated and make sure to "Peachify" with a fun face!
This was kind of a hard challenge..I was trying to think of the things that went on when I gradutaed (in 2004, so it wasn't that long ago)..but I just decided to go with a senior year layout. I actually made a graduation LO back in the day when I first started scrapbooking and I had to laugh at the way I used to scrapbook..boy have my skills improved! lol..

Here's my new page..
((sorry for the bad lighting, that's what I get for taking my pics late at night! ))
I used the PK-590 Blushing Bride assortment for my grad-gal
Aww I was so young here..only 18!

I made a little scene at the botton of my page by paper peicing the school/bus from the pattern paper and I used my cloud punch and my button maker.

I hope you like it! If you want to join in the challenge you can make anything from the year you gradutaed..from music you listen to, your hairstyle, clothes, your car..anything! As long as you add a Peachy Keen face to it!

Click HERE for all the details and check out the fun projects from the DT!

Cherish the moment..

Hello there! This week my schedule is kinda funky at work, so I'm gonna try my hardest to get a few more sneak peeks up of the newest Scrappy Mom's stamp sets! ;)
Today's card  I used the new 'All in the Family' set. The sentimnets on this set can be used in other ways besides family projects..here's an example, hope you likey!

I was inspired by THIS adorable card.

I did some more glittering with my MS coarse glitter ((love that stuff!)) and I did some inking for an old fashion look. I also twisted the red and brown twine for some contrast, I think it came out great! ;)

Ok, sorry about the short post, but I gotta get off to work..if I have time later I will list my supplies!
See ya laters! :)

If you are just arriving at my blog, you will want to start at the Peachy Keen Stamps blog so you don't miss out on anything! If you came from Janice's blog, then you are in the right spot!

Today I am showcasing the 2 new face assortment sets. One is called Cute & Cuddly and let me tell you, that is exactly what there are! Super cute and super cuddly! lol..this set is perfect for bunnies, teddy bears, skunks, etc...the next is something that will enhance the face assortments you already have, it is called Accessories Assortment One, this set comes with mustaches, goatees and glasses (without the nose bars). All I can say is I LOVE the mustaches! They are soo much fun and bring even more character to your faces!

Let's start with inspiration #1. I made a layout of my little Natalie, showcasing the Cute & Cuddly assortment.
Supplies: Birthday Bash, Simply Sweet, April Showers-Cricut, I-top, cloud punch, trim, twine, PP-Cosmo Criket

#2. Here's a fun birthday card (this was my sneak peek also)..

#3 Here's some super simple (but still super cute!) bunny shaped cards, perfect to add in your Easter baskets! I made the brads in the flower centers using my I-top.
Supplies: Doodlecharms-Cricut, I-top, PP-Basic Grey

#4. Next up, I used the Accessories Assortment One set, I stamped the mustaches randomly to create my own pattern paper..love the result!! This is perfect for those 'guy' cards too.
((The sentiment is a super sneak peek of some up coming Scrappy Mom's Stamps!))
Pattern Paper-Cosmo Criket

I hope you enjoyed my reveal of the new face assortments. It's been so much fun playing with the new stamps! I can't wait to see what you all will create with these! :)

Sunshine, Clouds and Rainbows

Hi everyone! Are you surprised I don't have a Christmas card up? lol....today is another Tuesday challenge over at Made by Momo and the theme is all about sunshine, clouds and rainbows! I told Momo this is my kind of challenge! I love all those things and it's nice to take a break away from making so many Christmas cards!
I made a fun layout of Natalie when she was about 9 months old. This was her first time on a swing and she just LOVED it! I got a lot of good snap shots of her giggling, it was so cute! And I used my new Twinkle Toes cartridge, this one is soo adorable!

I love this pic of her!
She's so lucky to have her daddy's blue eyes!

What do you think of the LO? I like the bright colors, it's nice to see that this time of year isn't it? :)
I welded the title together on my Gypsy and I started thinking, wouldn't it be nice if the Gypsy had a spell checker on it? lol..I know I'm a nerd..but I have miss-spelled some words before and glued them down and later realized, duh!..it was spelled wrong!! lol..I know I'm not the only one! Just a thought!

I hope you all can join in this challenge, it's a fun one! Also we have a new designer over on Momo's blog so make sure you stop by to see who it is, you won't regret it!

One more thing...I have big announcement to make!! (no..I'm not pregnant!lol.)
My one year blog-a-versary and my 25th birthday are coming up and I am hosting my first blog hop to celebrate! It's going to be on New Years Day, so mark your calendars! There will be 15 stops, giveaways and lots of inspiration! If you have a Facebook you can come join in the Event page right HERE!!Yay! I'm so excited! And to top it off, I will actually be doing a project and a giveaway for the 5 days before the hop to get you all ready for the 'grand prize'! It all begins on Dec. 27th!!

I made an invitation for a 'White Elephant' party ((you know the gift exchange party where everyone brings a really goofy gift))..I cut the cute eley from the Zoobaloo cartridge and I welded the title together with letters from the Country Life cart..the banner is also a font on Country Life.
Isn't she a cute elephant! I did a little inking on the edges and I stamped the eyes with the PK Extra Large Critter Faces and the Santa hat is from the Christmas Cheer cart. I also got my free sample of those Wobbles today and tried 'em out with my eley..they're fun!
I also added some MS coarse glitter to the title.
