Momo's Tuesday Challenge-Anything Snowy

Hi everyone!!
I think I'm getting into the swing of things this year. It's kind of weird because I always think everything will change whenever there is a new year, but nothing changes at all! I guess that's why people make new years resolutions...do you guys have any??

Well, let's get to todays post...today we are back on at Made by Momo (she has challenges every other Tuesday) and this week she let me pick the theme! I decided on anything that has to do with SNOW! I figured, we are in the middle of winter and you all know how much I love the snow! ;) Plus I have been dying to cut out this snowman from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge ever since I got my G a year ago! I made a shaped card by welding the shadows together.

Isn't he cute!
I used the PK-520 Winter Faces Assortment and I added a spritz of glimmer mist, buut it's so hard to get that to show in the photo (it looks really shimmery in person!).

I hope you all can come join in the fun!
Have a great day!

P.S.I will be announcing the winners of my 6 Days of Giveaways and 'Let's Celebrate' blog hop tomorrow..so make sure you pop in because YOU might be one of my winners! woohoo!

P.P.S. We were just in the snow! Isn't it pretty?!

Thanksgiving Layout for Momo's Challenge

Hi everyone! I have a sweet Thanksgiving layout I made for my daughters 1st Thanksgiving this year. I'm so behind on her baby book..yikes!..I think I've only done about 10 pages, if that! And she's almost one! Well, I don't know anyone who is even caught up on scrapbooking anyway so I don't fell that bad, lol..so the theme this week over at Made by Momo is to make anything with a TURKEY on it.
So here is my layout..this is also probably my 2nd time making a paper doll from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge, I think she came out cute! :)

I got my inspiration for this sketch from The Scrappiest blog.
I'm really hoping to whip out some more layouts for her baby book soon. I think once all the holidays have past it might be easier.

So how many of you ordered cartridges from that awesome pre-black-friday sale at Cricutmachine.com? this weekend??? I HAD to order, the prices were sooo low! I'm crossing my fingers they show up in my mail box today! :)
Alrighty, that's it for now, have a great day!

Happy Lashes (pumpkins)
Cartridges:
Just Because Cards (corn stalks)

Momo's Tuesday Challenge-Emboss It!

Hi there! So, how many of you got to do the Gypsy update last night? I'm still working on getting mine updated..it hasn't gone through on my Mac yet but I really want to check out that Smiley Cards so bad, and I'm a little impatient and I'm trying to start up my old PC but that thing is a dinosaur and is taking F-O-R-E-V-E-R-!! lol..hopefully I can get it going by tonight!
So anyhoo..today is Momo's Tuesday Challenge (she does them every other Tuesday and does a giveaway at the end of the month!) and this week the theme was to incorporate embossing, it could be heat embossing or dry embossing. I went with the dry embossing. I just got the Preserves cartridge when I went to the Scrapbook Expo a few weeks ago and I got the set of cuttlebug embossing folders that go along with the cart..these folders are the cutest! I just had to break  them in! The main reason I got the Preserves cart was to add some cute Peachy Keen faces to the fruit...So here is my card...

Aren't those strawberries the cutest ever!?! I can't stop admiring how cute they came out! LOL!! I used the PK Winter Faces Assortment for the faces and the sentiment is from 'A Pinch and A Dash' set by Scrappy Mom's Stamps. I hope you like my card...make sure to check out what the rest of Momo's DT made and hopefully you can join us in the challenge! Have a great day!

Enter if you DARE!! and some eggs..lol...

Hi everyone today is Momo's Tuesday Challenge and this week the theme is to make anything BUT a card! I wasn't to sure what to make since all I have been making lately is cards...I had to dust off my brain a little and really think! LOL.. so I decided to make a door sign, you know like the 'do not disturb' type of thingys, but I made my Halloweenish..take a look...
There's lots of glitter on the words...and the vamp even has some bling on his bowtie! :)

This is the 1st one of these door signs I have made, but I think it came out cute. I might even make one for my daughter's room soon! :)  I cut the sign from the My Community cart, the letters are from Storybook and the vamp and spider w/web are from Mini Monsters. The vamp & spider faces are from the PK Monster Mash Face assort...I hope you all can join in the challenge this week!

Now onto the 'eggs' part of my post..lol..I made another sneaky peeky for you all with the new 'A Pinch and A Dash' set by Scrappy Mom's Stamps, take a peek!...
You're Eggs-traordinary! Isn't this the cutest!? I'm soo loving these sentiments! I cut that eggy from the Just Because Cards cartridge and the face is from the new Peachy Keen set ~Snow Cuties~
I also added some glossy glaze for some real life egginess! :)

Well that's it for today! You all got a two for one today, with two projects! lol, hope you likey and hope you all have a fantastic day!

Momo's Tuesday Challenge-Fall Color Challenge

Hello! Today is Momo's Tuesday challenge and this week she asked us to make a Fall themed project with the colors~Orange, Yellow and Green~ with the twist that we add some faux stitching or doodling. This was easy peasy for me since I always do some kind of doodling! I'm so happy it's officially Fall now, I love all the pumpkin and apple spice smells in the air! So for today's card I used an oldie but a goodie ~Stretch Your Imagination~ this is one of my favorite carts, but with all the new carts on the block, this one just collects dust! lol..

I used the Peachy Keen Critter faces in Medium and the sentiment is from an old stamp set I have, I think it's by Inkadinkado.
I love this little squirell and I had to give it a little bow! :)
Hope you like it and I hope  you all can join in. Momo does do a giveaway once a month, so you have two chances to enter if you do the challenge every other Tuesday!
Thanks for stopping by..Have a good day!

Hello Sunshine!!! I love when the 2nd Tuesday comes around because it's Momo's Tuesday challenge time! She always has fun themes picked out for us! This week the theme is 'Just Because' and I made a very cheerful looking card, I think it will make anyone smile!
I used the PK Laughy Taffy face set and I also added glitter to the sun-rays (I think that's what they are called lol..) and I little bit of stitching and some bling....

This sentiment is from EAD stickerz the ~Pocket Full of Sunshine~ sentiments...I thought it worked out PERFECTLY! :)

Momo's Tuesday Challenge-Black and White

Happy Tuesday! Thank you to everyone who left such nice comments about me being on the EAD Designs team! I am soo looking forward to designing for them! Today is another exciting day because it's Momo's Tuesday challenge! These only come around every other Tuesday so I hope you all can join in. This weeks theme is a color challenge and we are to use black and white along with one other color of our choice....Momo guessed that I would use hot pink and she was right LOL!  Here is my card..

For this cute little creation, I used the cupcakes from Sweet Treats and PK Princess faces, along with the sentiment from Scrappy Mom's Stamps.
I'm loving the end result! I think I may have gone a bit overboard with the 'blush' but whateva, they're just cupcakes they don't care!  LOL ;p
Thanks for taking a peek and remember to check out Made by Momo for more inspiration from the DT! And come back tomorrow for a cute little card I have for my 1st challenge as a DT member over at Cricut Cardz Challenge!
Hope you have a fun day!

Momo's Tuesday Challenge-Babies, and diapers, and onesies Oh My!

Hi everyone, today is Momo's Tuesday Challenge, for those of you who don't know- Momo has a themed challenge every other Tuesday. I'm so excited because she let me pick the theme this week, and of course I decided to do a baby theme! I  thought it would be fun and a good way for me to get on the ball with my daughters baby book. So I made a fun layout (yes, another LO!) and I hope you all like it!

   Isn't she a cutie pie! :)
I used the Wall Decor and More cricut cart for the baby banner, the title and the flourishes.
I used a stamp for the this banner (those came in my blog candy from Audrey-thank you! I love everything!!) and I stamped the birds onto the cardstock then stamped again on pattern paper & cut n' layered..
I used a lot of prima flowers and different kind of brads for a fun look...
And for the final touch, I decided to record how old she was in the pics and I used a blue bracket with a few white brads..
Well there's my take on the baby challenge. I hope you all can join in, these challenges are a lot of fun.

*The rest of the week I will be having some sneak peeks of the new Scrappy Mom's Stamps! So see  you soon! :)

Momo's Tuesday Challenge-Flower Shower

Hi there! Today is Momo's Tuesday Challenge and the theme is FLOWER SHOWER! I kinda had a hard time with this at first, which was weird because I looove flowers! But then I thought of 'flower power' which totally reminded me of hippies! Lol..so I went for a little hippie chick from Paper Doll Dress Up and had her 'walking' through a meadow of flowers (all cut from Walk In my Garden cart). I love how she came out, with her cute face from the PK Princess face set.
The sentiment is by Recollections (from M's)...
I did some doodling and I even drew on the clouds myself! :) I love my lil hippie chick!
I hope you all can join in, Momo has these challenges every other Tuesday so you have plenty of time to get yours in! Be sure to check out what the rest of the team made HERE! Have a great day!

Momo's Tuesday Challenge-A Girly Affair...

Hi everyone! Today is another Tuesday Challenge over at Momo's blog and this week the theme is 'a Girly Affair' basically anything girly and feminine. When Momo told the DT the theme I knew right then I had to use the super sexy corset from Tie the Knot! I've had that cart for awhile and haven't got to play with it yet, so this was the perfect challenge for me!
Definitely feminine, right!?! I used the stamp sentiment from a set by Inkadinkado.

I had to add some bling!

For this card I welded 2 of the shadows together to make the card base and used pop dots for the top layer. On all of the white parts I used the icing stickles and I did a lil bit of doodling. I also used a red ink for the edges of the corset. I don't know if you can tell, but there is a little eyelet on the tag where the ribbon comes through (I'm getting better at the crop-a-dile! woohoo!).
Ok, be sure to check out Momo's blog for more inspiration this week! :) TFL!

Momo's Tuesday Challenge...

Hi everyone! This weeks Tuesday Challenge Momo asked us to  make a project for what love means to us. So of course I thought of my wedding day! I used the Happily Ever After cartridge for this one....
I just loove the cut of Cinderella and Prince Charming! Cinderella is my all time fav! So I just had to us this on a wedding page!
I used the Home Decor cart for the flourish and layered 3 prima flowers with a pearl on top..
The letters came from Storybook and I did a lil bit of doodling on them..(I had to weld them on my Gypsy)
And here we are on our big day!...
I totally forgot I had this pic, I edited the color a loooong time ago, so I'm glad I did I think it's a perfect pic for the theme!

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to check out Made by Momo for more Tuesday inspiration from the DT!

Spots and Dots-Made by Momo Challenge

Hi everyone! Today's theme for Momo's Challenge is SPOTS AND DOTS, so I new I wanted to make a ladybug. I cut this one from Doodlecharms and I cut the card base from Wild Card...I got the inspiration for this card in the Card Making with Cricut book. This book has lots of great ideas, but it's not very big. This is a 3 fold gift card holder..
Lots of spots and dots here! :)
I used Walk in my Garden for the 'for you'...
This is the inside...it's pretty cool, I didn't even know this was on Wild Card, it's perfect for all those gift cards we hand out for b-days and such! Thanks for taking a peek..and make sure to stop by Momo's blog for more fun projects from the team members! And be sure to join in on the fun! ;)
