Peachy Keen-Lets Face it Friday- "Sew Super Cute"

Hi everyone! It's time for the 11th PKS Let's Face it Friday! Woohoo! I had fun with this challenge, I also added in another Scrappy Mom's sneak peek with the sentiment!
So the challenge for us this week is to create a project with either faux or real stitching.
Well you all know I love me some faux stitching..I actually would love to do real stitching but I don't know how to use a sewing machine (they kinda scare me! lol), but that is one of my goals this year (to learn!). So here is my take on the challenge...

Dosen't that sentiment just work out so perfect!? Love it! It's from the brand new 'Kids Incorporated' set.
Here's some details on how I made it..
The rainbow is from the Hello Kitty Greetings cart., I stamped the face with the PKS-660 Laughy Taffy face assort., the clouds are stamps from My Mind's Eye, used twine from SMS and the pattern paper is by Echo Park. Hope you like it!

By the way, there will be a random winner for this challenge, the winner will get a Peachy Keen face assortment of their choice! woot! woot! You all better get your entries in!! Have fun...

EAD Color Challenge! ~Farmers Market~

Happy Thursday everyone! Boy this week is flying by! Today is the monthly E.A.D. Color Challenge and the theme is Farmers Market.  The girls at EAD usually come out with a new set of STICKERZ to go with the challenges and this new set is super cute with some sweet sentiments. Here are the colors:

And here are the new Farmer's Market Stickerz

Here's a little something for some inspiration for you all!..

Here's the top, this sentiment says "From the bottom of my jar, Thank You."..
Cute paper doll, I used the little apron sticker and PK Laughy Taffy Face stamp.
I love how this girly came out, she's not your average paper doll! LOL ;p
(I cut her from the Going Places cricut cart.)
I even had to give her a hair cut! hehe..
This strawberry card was cut from the Hello Kitty cricut cart. and I added lots of pearls!
I love this sentiment!
Well there's my fun goodies for today.
I hope you all can join in the challenge, one lucky winner will get a $20 dollar gift card and EVERYONE who plays along gets 25% off at EAD Designs! So you can win either way! The challenge runs Sept. 9th-23rd, so you will have plenty of time to join in!
**Also if you would like a chance to win these new stickerz my DT sister Jenn is giving away the new set! So head over to her blog right

My First Swap...

Momo from Made by Momo is hosting a swap so I decided that it sounded like something fun to join in on. I've never done a swap before but I will be getting some designs from a cartridge that I don't have, so that caught my interest! I was paired up with Audra from Rudie Tootie Patootie she requested some cuts from Hello Kitty Greetings and Create a Citter..here's what I made for her..
Lots of stickles involved here! LOL!
Aren't these guys so cute! Love 'em! tfl!

Altered Hello Kitty tin box

All of the Hello Kitty cards went inside this cute tin.

Hello Kitty Cards

I used the Hello Kitty Greeting cartridge to make these. I made a collection of just Hello Kitty cards for my sisters birthday. It was a lot of fun to focus just on one cartridge at a time. That's my plan this year to try and make a new collection of cards for each cartridge I have.
