Butterfly Birthday Blog Hop

Hello! Today we are celebrating my sister Sandra's birthday with a blog hop! I hope you can join us, there is a fabulous grand prize if you make you're way through the hop and I'm sure there will be chances to win blog candy too!
Please start HERE.

Sandra is a wonderful person and a great sister, I actually talked her into buying a Cricut years ago and ever since our crafty journey has grown, we both started blogs at the same time and made lots of friends along the way. It's so nice having a sister that shares my passion for crafting too, and it's fun being able to share Cricut carts too! :) Happy Birthday Sandra!

Here's my card for today..

Sandra asked that we make anything with a butterfly on it..right away I new I wanted to make a shaped card. They are fun and easy. I used my April Showers Cricut cartridge for the butterflies and the flowers/leaves are from the Walk in my Gardern cart.  I used pop dots for each layer, did some embossing with my Cuttlebug, inking and a few spritz of Pearl glimmer mist. I also did some hand stitching with some pink floss and added the floral wire for the attenas.  The sentiment is from the "Quirky Quotes" set by Scrappy Mom's Stamps.
I hope you like it!

I will be giving away the PK441-Cute & Cuddly 1 1/8" set by Peachy Keen Stamps.

Hello! Welcome to the Peachy Keen Stamps Spring Release blog hop! We are so glad you could join us and share in the fun! These new stamps are amazing and perfect for all of your Spring time projects!

If you are just arriving at my blog, you will want to start at the Peachy Keen Stamps blog so you don't miss out on anything! If you came from Janice's blog, then you are in the right spot!

Today I am showcasing the 2 new face assortment sets. One is called Cute & Cuddly and let me tell you, that is exactly what there are! Super cute and super cuddly! lol..this set is perfect for bunnies, teddy bears, skunks, etc...the next is something that will enhance the face assortments you already have, it is called Accessories Assortment One, this set comes with mustaches, goatees and glasses (without the nose bars). All I can say is I LOVE the mustaches! They are soo much fun and bring even more character to your faces!

Let's start with inspiration #1. I made a layout of my little Natalie, showcasing the Cute & Cuddly assortment.
Supplies: Birthday Bash, Simply Sweet, April Showers-Cricut, I-top, cloud punch, trim, twine, PP-Cosmo Criket

#2. Here's a fun birthday card (this was my sneak peek also)..

#3 Here's some super simple (but still super cute!) bunny shaped cards, perfect to add in your Easter baskets! I made the brads in the flower centers using my I-top.
Supplies: Doodlecharms-Cricut, I-top, PP-Basic Grey

#4. Next up, I used the Accessories Assortment One set, I stamped the mustaches randomly to create my own pattern paper..love the result!! This is perfect for those 'guy' cards too.
((The sentiment is a super sneak peek of some up coming Scrappy Mom's Stamps!))

Think Spring!

Hi there! Today is such a nice day out, the sun is out and the weather is warm-ish..the weeds, grass I mean lack of landscaping ...is growing nice and green! lol...

For  my card today I totally scraplifted an idea from one of my favorite paper crafters -Teri Anderson.. she's one of the Go-To-Gals over at PaperCrafts. When I have down time I love browsing through the galleries at TwoPeas in a Bucket for inspiration. Especially when I'm lacking mojo!
You can check out Teri's card HERE.

Let's all ~Think Spring!~

Isn't this fun!? I played with my new cart April Showers..this is such a cute cartridge, lots of cute spring time images, I'm sure you will see me use it a lot more! :)

Of course I had to Peachify it for extra cuteness!
I used the PK-Princess face assort.for the umbrella and the PK-Boy Mates assort. for the cloud.
I hope you like it!
