PKS -Let's Face it Friday Challenge 25 -Leaves

Hi everyone! It seems like we haven't had a Peachy Keen challenge in awhile, but it's only been 2 weeks! I don't know where time goes now-a-days! Time flies! ..so anywhoo the challenge this week for Let's Face it Fridays is all about Leaves for Fall. I love, love, love this time of year, so this was right up my alley!
We were able to make anything as long as we add our Peachy faces and add leaves.
Well I'm planning on making a batch of Pumpkin Spiced chocolate chip cookies ((I found a yummy recipe here))..and I wanted to package them nicely to give to some friends.
Here's my little altered treat bag..

I used some vellum to layer and soften the background. The papers are from a super cute stack I got from M's (Night and Fall). And the of course used my Peachy faces..I used the newest PK-486 In Stitches face assortment for my pumpkins (love that set!).
I hope you like it and hopefully you get some inspiration for your project!
You can get all the details, prize info and check out what the rest of the DT made HERE.

Thanks for stoppin' by! I will be back tomorrow with a fun card to celebrate World Carmaking Day with the Momenta DT, we will be having a blog hop so please stop by!

PKS -Let's Face it Friday Challenge -Think Spring

Happy Friday everyone! It's time for another Peachy Keen Let's Face it Friday!

This week the challenge is to 'Think Spring'

Create a Spring-inspired handmade gift using your Peachy Keen Faces!
Gifts can be anything: card sets, treat buckets, takeout boxes, decorative basket,  you decide!

I had a lot of fun with this challenge because Spring is one of my favorite times of the year!

Ready for my project?..it's super cute!
I altered a mini birdhouse, it's perfect to give to someone special ((or in my case..keep for yourself!))

Sorry.. I went a little picture crazy..I had to get every angle! lol..I love the way it came out. I think it's my favorite project so far this year! :)

Here's some details:
I used the PK-Critter Faces med. for the owl and it's from Hoot 'n Holler. For the flowers I used the PK-Snow Cuties faces assort. and those are from Give a Hoot. The birdhouse has a little heart cutout so I used my hot glue gun to frame it with baker's twine and also wrapped twine around the peg and topped it off with a lil' button. I thought the fence looked so cute, I cut those from the Paper Doll Dressup cart...for the edges I used a border punch, and to finish off the house I HAD to add a little banner and then used my label maker for the 'Home tweet home'...oh and all the patern papers are by DCVW. I used my ATG gun to adhere all the papers down and then sanded down the edges with a nail file..super easy!

Hope you like it!
Make sure you pop on over to the PKS challenge blog and see what the rest of the talented DT made, and make sure you give our guest designer this week ((Kimmy)) some love!

The winner for this challenge will get 3 glimmer mist!!
I would love to win these! ;)

Good luck, and have an awesome weekend!

Scrappy Mom's Terrific Tuesday Challenge and winners announced

Hello everyone! It's time for another Scrappy Mom's Terrific Tuesday challenge. I think this is our 3rd one and it's so much fun! All the DT girls have out done themselves again with super cute projects! Click HERE to check 'm out!
So the challenge this week is all about the Simply Charmed cartirdge, this is one of my favorites!
I paired up the adorable little penguin with 'the Sky's the Limit' sentiment from the 'Designer's Choice' set by Scrappy Mom's.

I wanted to have a lot of white space since there are a lot of bright colors. I heat embossed the cloud background with clear powder and used THIS stamp by Hero Arts. I also added glossy accent to the balloons. The face is from the PK-Happy Lashes face asst. and the banner is from Give a Hoot. Hope you like it!

Wow! What an awesome crafty year it has been! I've seen a few others 'top 10' and I really love what I see! Everyone has been busy crafting and I know next year will be a great one!
*******************************

So, for my very last project of the year I wanted to share a card I made for my parents. Today is actually their 29th wedding anniversary! I think  they were crazy for getting married on New Year's Eve! lol...
Today's project is sponsored by Cri-Kits, they were so nice to send me a set of pens to try out and let me give a set away to one lucky winner!
So you've all heard about the Cri-Kits by now right? If not, what they are is a set of gel pens to draw with you Cricut machines...just replace the cutting blade with the pen carrier and it draws! It's really cool! I made some butterflies from the Give a Hoot cartridge and colored them in with my Prisma pencils.
I only added pop dots right in the center of the butterflies, so that the wings pop up.
The sentiment is from the 'Designer's Choice' stamp set by Scrappy Mom's.

I also coated the butterflies with a layer of Ice Crystal glitter paint, I get mine at PKS and I added some bling with my iRock.

This is how the butterflies look right after they come out of the Cricut...

I hope you like it!

Ok, so for today's giveaway, you get a chance to win the set of Cri-Kits pens and the pen housing! woohoo!

Just leave me ONE comment and tell me what you plan to do to celebrate the New Year!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you all have a great New Year's Eve!! Be safe and have fun!!

See ya back tomorrow for the 'Let's Celebrate' blog hop! It starts right here on my blog at midnight!!
(12 am Pacific time!)
I am going to have a GRAND PRIZE to celebrate the New Year and to end my 6 days of giveaways, you don't want to miss it!!! :)
