PKS -Let's Face it Friday Challenge 25 -Leaves

Hi everyone! It seems like we haven't had a Peachy Keen challenge in awhile, but it's only been 2 weeks! I don't know where time goes now-a-days! Time flies! ..so anywhoo the challenge this week for Let's Face it Fridays is all about Leaves for Fall. I love, love, love this time of year, so this was right up my alley!
We were able to make anything as long as we add our Peachy faces and add leaves.
Well I'm planning on making a batch of Pumpkin Spiced chocolate chip cookies ((I found a yummy recipe here))..and I wanted to package them nicely to give to some friends.
Here's my little altered treat bag..

I used some vellum to layer and soften the background. The papers are from a super cute stack I got from M's (Night and Fall). And the of course used my Peachy faces..I used the newest PK-486 In Stitches face assortment for my pumpkins (love that set!).
I hope you like it and hopefully you get some inspiration for your project!
You can get all the details, prize info and check out what the rest of the DT made HERE.

Butterfly Birthday Blog Hop

Hello! Today we are celebrating my sister Sandra's birthday with a blog hop! I hope you can join us, there is a fabulous grand prize if you make you're way through the hop and I'm sure there will be chances to win blog candy too!
Please start HERE.

Sandra is a wonderful person and a great sister, I actually talked her into buying a Cricut years ago and ever since our crafty journey has grown, we both started blogs at the same time and made lots of friends along the way. It's so nice having a sister that shares my passion for crafting too, and it's fun being able to share Cricut carts too! :) Happy Birthday Sandra!

Here's my card for today..

Sandra asked that we make anything with a butterfly on it..right away I new I wanted to make a shaped card. They are fun and easy. I used my April Showers Cricut cartridge for the butterflies and the flowers/leaves are from the Walk in my Gardern cart.  I used pop dots for each layer, did some embossing with my Cuttlebug, inking and a few spritz of Pearl glimmer mist. I also did some hand stitching with some pink floss and added the floral wire for the attenas.  The sentiment is from the "Quirky Quotes" set by Scrappy Mom's Stamps.
I hope you like it!

**Blog Candy**
I will be giving away the PK441-Cute & Cuddly 1 1/8" set by Peachy Keen Stamps.
Just leave one comment on this post.

Ok, your next stop on the hop is to miss

Have a great day! :)

PKS -Let's Face it Friday Challenge -Flower Power

Hey, hey everyone! I'm back with my 2nd post of the day. You can scroll down to see my 1st post, you don't want to miss it! :)
So I'm back because today is Let's Face ot Friday over at the Peachy Keen Stamps challenge blog. This week the challenge is to create a project with a handmade flower, also if you want to join in
*your project must be new
*must include a Peachy Keen face/faces
*Link up before April 1st
Easy peasy! :)

Here's my take on the challenge ((this has some serious cute-ness going on, just to warn you! lol..))
PKS also now sells bling! Yep! That's where I got mine from, I just trimmed mine a little to fit with the adorable birdie. And that sentiment is so perfect with Natalie's expression, that comes from the EAD-Fly Away with Me stickerz.

The little girl is even holding a flower..

To make my handmade flowers I used my good ol' Cricut for some help. I cut them from the Walk in my Garden cartridge, layered each one twice. I spritz each with Pearl glimmer mist and then added stickles in the coordinating colors (only on the darker parts). To make the ends curl up, I used my stylus and rounded the 'corners' and added some gems for a final touch.

I really love the way this came out, another one going on my fave list!
Hope it brought a smile to your face! :)

I hope you all can join in, this is a fun challenge...and the prize is pretty awesome! You could win the Happy Lashes (1 1/8th) or the Dolly Dumplins (1 1/8th) faces! How sweet would that be!
Make sure you pop over to see what the talented DT made! Have a great day! :)

P.S. I got some inspiration from THIS cute frame!

Cricut Cardz Challenge~'Z' fold Halloween Card~

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is Team 1's week on the Cricut Cardz Challenge and we had  to make an 'S' or 'Z' fold Halloween card. I love this fold, but I always forget about it.  We were also able to use any cricut cartridge we wanted. So of course I ended up using Mini Monster AGAIN! I just can't get over how cute all the little cuts are on this cart! My first plan was to use the Halloween images from A Child's Year, but it just wasn't working out. I'm so happy I decided to switch it up, cuz I looove the end result!

What do you think? I was going for a pumpkin patch look.  I used the
and the
The sentiments and the spider are from a Halloween stamp set by Fiskers I got at JoAnn's.
For the Spider I drew a little stitched web..I thought it looked cute! And the 'Boo' sign is cut from Walk in My Garden.
I hope you all can join in the challenge, thanks for stopping by!
Don't forget tomorrow is the Peachy Keen Blog Hop! I'm so excited, this will be my first time hopping with my new PK design team! We will be showcasing the September Releases and there will be lots of blog candy! So see you then! :)

Momo's Tuesday Challenge-Flower Shower

Hi there! Today is Momo's Tuesday Challenge and the theme is FLOWER SHOWER! I kinda had a hard time with this at first, which was weird because I looove flowers! But then I thought of 'flower power' which totally reminded me of hippies! Lol..so I went for a little hippie chick from Paper Doll Dress Up and had her 'walking' through a meadow of flowers (all cut from Walk In my Garden cart). I love how she came out, with her cute face from the PK Princess face set.
The sentiment is by Recollections (from M's)...
I did some doodling and I even drew on the clouds myself! :) I love my lil hippie chick!
I hope you all can join in, Momo has these challenges every other Tuesday so you have plenty of time to get yours in! Be sure to check out what the rest of the team made HERE! Have a great day!

Spots and Dots-Made by Momo Challenge

Hi everyone! Today's theme for Momo's Challenge is SPOTS AND DOTS, so I new I wanted to make a ladybug. I cut this one from Doodlecharms and I cut the card base from Wild Card...I got the inspiration for this card in the Card Making with Cricut book. This book has lots of great ideas, but it's not very big. This is a 3 fold gift card holder..
Lots of spots and dots here! :)
I used Walk in my Garden for the 'for you'...
This is the inside...it's pretty cool, I didn't even know this was on Wild Card, it's perfect for all those gift cards we hand out for b-days and such! Thanks for taking a peek..and make sure to stop by Momo's blog for more fun projects from the team members! And be sure to join in on the fun! ;)

My 1st Project as a Designer for BBTB2..

Happy Monday everyone! I'm so excited to share with you my very first project as a DESIGNER  for BBTB2! This week we were asked to use the card with the 3 flowers from the From My Kitchen cartridge. I decided to use mine as a picture frame...with a pic of Natalie of course! I didn't know what to do with this cut at first, but my sweet hubby gave me this idea..so he gets the credit..lol!
I used the Home Accents cart for the 'grow' and did some inking and added some white dots with my gelly pen. I also used my corner punch to round the edges on the frame.
I welded all the words together on my Gypsy, and used the Lyrical Letters cart for the letters. The tag was cut from Plantin Schoolbook and I inked it for an aged look. The flourish is from Home Decor.
I added  this little 'oh, baby' bracket I found in my stash.
For the flowers I used Walk in my Garden for the little red flowers, I used a flower punch for the center one and cut it out from news paper and inked it up. And used big primas and a brad for the center.

Well I hope you all enjoyed that! I love the way it came out and I'm planning on framing it! Be sure to stop by BBTB2 to see the great  ideas from the Design Team! Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Piggy

Here's a little card I made for one of my girlfriend's daughter. She just turned one and she loves pigs, so I came up with this cute card for her. I used My Community for the pig and her clothes. I used Sweet Treats for the cupcake and Walk In My Garden for the flowers. I did a bit of inking and doodling and used pop dots for the cupcake. I'm sure she will like it, she's only one so I don't think she's too picky yet! lol...I'm also entering this one into the Cricut Cardz Challenge this week, we have to make a card for a birthday boy or girl...TFL!

Sweet Woodland Baby

I'm so happy I finally had some time to do a layout! I've been making so many cards because they don't take as much time as a LO...having a baby makes every minute count! So I got the inspiration for this LO from my daughters baby swing (it has little woodland creatures on it)..I used Zoobaloo for the clouds, Gypsy Wanderings for the owls, tree, butterflies and heart. Paisley for the mushrooms, Walk in my Garden for the grass.Sweet Treats for the tag and Winter Woodland for the bunny and squirl. Yes I know thats a LOT of carts! It was so much fun to make! Hope you like it!
