Challenge #8 with Sandra

I almost forgot..I have one more card to share today..this is my card I made along with my sis Sandra (our Challenge w/each other)..I chose the adorable little fairy from A Child's Year cartridge and here is what I came up with...

I stuck with the monochromatic theme..I hardly ever use purple so I thought I would give it a try for this card.

I cut a layer of vellum for the wings and used some stickles also. The wings kinda stick up.

Challenge #7 with Sandra-Just B-cuz Cards...

Hi there! Today my sis Sandra and I are sharing another challenge together. This week she picked the cute bike from the Just Because cartridge. I just got this cart in the mail this week and I am soo loving it! It's really a fun cart with super cute images and fun sayings, defintely a MUST! ..I don't know why I waited so long to get it!..anywho, I also made another card with this cart, you can scroll down to see that one! :)

Love it! :) and here is my other card...it's been sooo sooo hot here I had  to make this one! lol...

Challenge #6 with Sandra=Fun Layout!!

Hi everyone! My sis Sandra and I are on our 6th challenge this week...it's been awhile since we did our little challenge, just because we've been caught up in other challenges that we put ours on  the back burner. But this week we decided to get back to business and I picked the Apron cut from the From my Kitchen cartridge. I've had that cart for awhile and of course hardly ever use it! Sandra made a super cute recipe holder with the apron..

and I made a really fun, kinda doodle crazy layout! Lol :) I used a lot of carts, I will list them at the bottom of the post..and here it is..My Crazy Life...

Yes, I went doodle crazy like I mentioned...but I loooove it! :) :)

 I used the Scrappy Mom's Sweet Somethings stamps right here...(happy, happy Days)

I love taintor cards..this one says "Wow, I get to give birth AND change diapers!" LOL...

 I also used the Peachy Keen Critter face stamps for the baby and the doggie...

 Sorry for all the photos, but I had to give all the little details! This was one of the funnest layouts I've made in awhile, now here is a list of the carts used...

Challenge #5 with Sandra...Sunglasses

Hi everyone! My sis Sandra and I are on our 5th challenge with each other already! (for those of you that don't know..me and my sis have a challenge just between the two of us..just for fun!). She picked the cute sunglasses from Paisely...I love these sunglasses! My hubby thought the looked real! lol..

For my cards I made the sunglasses into a card..to do this I just welded 2 shadows together with the Gypsy..then I just adhered the sunglasses card to the card base..here is the inside of the glasses...

I finally got some twine and am loving it! I used a hot glue gun to glue down the glasses because I used chipboard and it came out a lil too thick, so I needed some heavy duty glue! lol...

Super cute huh!?! The sentiment says: Celebrate in Style! ...

Challenge #4 with Sandra-Zoobaloo..

Hi everyone! Sandra and I are on our 4th challenge together. This time I picked the cute little party elephant and giraffe from Zoobaloo. I've always loved these little guys and I had to have this cart but hardly ever use it... that's why we started doing these challenges to use the carts that we are rapidly collecting! Lol ;P

 Aren't these little guys soo cute!?! I got lucky when I found pink, blue and green polka dot paper in my stash! I love polka dots!

Challenge #3 with Sandra...Paisely..

So my sis Sandra and I are on our 3rd challenge already, this time it was her turn and she chose this cute dress from Paisley. I decided to make a tag...I love having these handy so I can add them to layouts or I like to use them as bookmarks. Sandra made a super cute LO, be sure to leave her some love! :)

Challenge #2 with Sandra (my sis)..

So as you all know my sister and I are having a 'just for fun' challenge between the two of us. We really wanted to see what each other can come up with, with the same cricut cuts. We both realized that our cartridge collections are growing every month and they are kind of collecting dust because we cant keep up! LOL..so this is perfect for us, I hope we can inspire you all!
So since she picked our last challenge with the Argyle Wild Card, this time it's my turn..and I chose the angel outfit  from Once Upon a Princess with any princess we wanted.

..and here is what I did...

The lighting was a little off, but this really looks super cute in person! I decided to do a layout since I haven't really been doing too many, I really need to get my layout mojo back! lol!

For the princess I did a lot of inking along the edges and I added some pink gems along the bottom of her dress and used stickles for the halo and the heart.

More stickles on the halo and lots of pop dots...and blue ink on the edges of the wings(it really makes them stand out more)...

And the little ANGEL herself ~NATALIE~

New Challenge With my Sister!

Hi everyone, so I've mentioned before that I borrow carts from my sis once in awhile and she borrows from me. It's awesome having someone in the family who has the same interest! We are both cricut freaks! LOL!
So the two of us decided to do a challenge a week and just have fun and see what eachother come up with. I think we both have different taste so the projects will definitely be different.

So here is my take on the Argyle card:

I was going for more of a vintage look. I added lots of glitter and lots of distressing.

I usually don't make the envelopes, but she wanted that to be apart of the challenge..
