PKS ~Let's Face it Friday Challenge~ #5

Hi there! I've been getting into the holiday season lately, I loove listening to Christmas music on Pandora.com and burning cinnamon candles and drinking hot coco..it's my favorite time of the year! Now I just need to get my butt to the mall and start shoppin'! ugh!..my least favorite part! lol..well at least I work at a mall so that helps some! ;p

Anyhoo..today brings us to the 5th PKS Let's Face it Friday Challenge and the theme is to Create an invitation for a holiday party.
The prize for this challenge is a brand new Winter Frolic cartridge! How sweet is that!?! *Remember you have to use the Peachy Keen Face stamps to enter this challenge. :)

I made an invitation for a 'White Elephant' party ((you know the gift exchange party where everyone brings a really goofy gift))..I cut the cute eley from the Zoobaloo cartridge and I welded the title together with letters from the Country Life cart..the banner is also a font on Country Life.
Isn't she a cute elephant! I did a little inking on the edges and I stamped the eyes with the PK Extra Large Critter Faces and the Santa hat is from the Christmas Cheer cart. I also got my free sample of those Wobbles today and tried 'em out with my eley..they're fun!
I also added some MS coarse glitter to the title.

Hope you like my invite. You have to go  check out what the PK DT Girls did..you will love it!

*P.S. Did you hear that YOU ((yes, you!)) now have a chance to be a guest designer at Peachy Keen Stamps??  YEP! Check out all the awesome info right HERE!!!
 Have an awesome day!

Cutting it close, but worth it!....mini album!

Hi everyone again! Yea I am cutting it very close for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge this week. My entry needs to be in within an hour and a half, but I just finished! This week Emma is showcasing Zoobaloo (one of my favs!) and the theme is to make anything animal inspired. So I decided it was time for another super cute mini album! ((yay!)). I really love the end result of this one and I hope you all love it! I used only the Zoobaloo cart for the animals and I also used a variety of paper flowers, brads, stamps, tags, twine, googly eyes, glitter paper, doodling and I including some sentiments from Scrappy Mom's Stamps and I even perfected the whole eyelet/crop-a-dile thing that I've been struggling with.. lol ((that's for you Sandra!)) so here we go...

What do you all think? I really love all the glitter papers (they came from the Animal Crackers stack...I think DCWV)..I wasn't gonna do googly eyes at first, but I think they work perfect! I really could have done a ton more pics of all the details, but I think you all get the idea! Thanks for looking!

Challenge #6 with Sandra=Fun Layout!!

Hi everyone! My sis Sandra and I are on our 6th challenge this week...it's been awhile since we did our little challenge, just because we've been caught up in other challenges that we put ours on  the back burner. But this week we decided to get back to business and I picked the Apron cut from the From my Kitchen cartridge. I've had that cart for awhile and of course hardly ever use it! Sandra made a super cute recipe holder with the apron..

I love taintor cards..this one says "Wow, I get to give birth AND change diapers!" LOL...
I also used the Peachy Keen Critter face stamps for the baby and the doggie...

Sweet Woodland Baby

I'm so happy I finally had some time to do a layout! I've been making so many cards because they don't take as much time as a LO...having a baby makes every minute count! So I got the inspiration for this LO from my daughters baby swing (it has little woodland creatures on it)..I used Zoobaloo for the clouds, Gypsy Wanderings for the owls, tree, butterflies and heart. Paisley for the mushrooms, Walk in my Garden for the grass.Sweet Treats for the tag and Winter Woodland for the bunny and squirl. Yes I know thats a LOT of carts! It was so much fun to make! Hope you like it!
