Let's Face it Friday Challenge & some EAD cuteness!

For the Scrappy Mom's Birthday Blog Hop CLICK HERE.

Hey there! Wow this week has flown by! It's been a very scrappy week for me, I think I will take the weekend to relax! :) ....so today is the 17th Let's Face it Friday Challenge at the Peachy Keen challenge blog. This week the theme is to create a patriotic card representing your country. Remember to join in this challenge you have to use a PKS face  on your project!

Here's my shape card, representing the good ol' U-S-of-A!

I'm lovin the way this turned out! It was a fun one to make too! Here's some details..
The little boy is from the Playtime cartridge..his flag was acutally a net, but I thought it looked close enough to a flag, and it worked! The star I cut from A Chlid's Year, but I think there are a few stars on other carts too. I wanted a zigzagy scallop circle and the only cartridge I found that on was the Easter 2010 seasonal cart..and the 'freedom' is from the Graphically Speaking cartridge.
The pattern papers are from a few differnet collections..MyMindsEye, MarthaStewart, K&Co..and the 'freedom' is on glittery white cardstock (but it's kinda hard to tell). And the USA stickers are by Cosmo Cricket.

The face I used is from the PK-460 Happy Lashes assortment..I think those are my current favies right now...lol..I hope you like it!

Come join in  the challenge..one random winner will be picked to win the new Sampler Face Pack and  the super cute Skunk set!!

Mini Baby Book *Natalie*

Hi friends! I finally finished the mini baby scrapbook I have been working on for Natalie. It took a few weeks but it is all done and so so cute! I used a variety of cartridges, stamps, buttons, ribbons, inking, doodling and I finally used my slice! There are 20 pages and they are 6x6 each. I've been taking it to work and everyone just drools over it! LOL! The pictures are from birth to 3 months, so I will have to start working on another one soon since she is just growing so fast! I hope you enjoy it.......
Thanks for taking a look..and as always I LOVE YOUR COMMENTS!! :)

Easter Cards and Natalie!

Hi everyone, today I have some Easter cards to share. They each have the same cuts, but just a different layout..I wanted to make a batch of them, but I wanted each one to look different. So here is what I came up with! The basket and the eggs are from Doodlecharms and the chocolate bunny and the bows are from the Easter cart. I embossed the eggs with the cuttlebug and stamped the little tags. I also added some prima flowers and some ribbon..hope you like 'em!

Now onto Natalie..she is four months now! The time has flown by so quickly! I just wanted to share some of her 'first' things that she did this week. She had her 1st trip to the park and she had her 1st taste of real food (well not really, just the rice cereal...which reminded me of pancake batter! lol..).I think she liked the park, but it started getting windy so we didn't spend to much time there. And when she tired her first taste at the rice cereal she didn't know what to think of it. She made her funny little faces but I think she got the hang of it toward the end. Here are some cute pics..TFL! :)

Little Easter Chicks

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having  a great weekend so far. I am so tired, I only got 4 hours of sleep last nite because we were helping my sister-in-law move, then I had to be up at the crack of dawn and be at work for a team meeting..(ugh!)..I'm glad I am finally home and I can relax!..So I made this cute little chicky card the other day I just barely am able to post it (I've been busy!). I used the Easter '10 cart for the lil chicks and I am going to enter this into this weeks Cricut Cardz Challenge for the week, we needed to make an Easter card using any cart...I think it came out cute, but I think it ended up looking more like a 'country time' Easter..Lol..
ALSO....
I have been working on a mini baby scrapbook, I can't wait to share it. It's about half way done and super cute already...I already took it to work and my clients loove it! ;p So hopefully I will be done with  that soon! TFL!

Hot Air Balloon Love

Hi there, I have a super cute card for you all! I have been inspired by all the hot air balloons I've been seeing around...I think they might be the next big thing..lol..I don't think any of the carts have one so I was being creative and made my own...although I did take a look at the  new seasonal carts..the -Summer in Paris- and that one does have an  air balloon. So here's what I did...the balloon is actually an egg from the Easter cart, I just had to mess around with the measurements a bit 'till it looked right. The couple is from Sweethearts, the clouds are from Indie Art, and the 'basket' is from Gypsy Wanderings..I used pop dots for that and threaded some string through that and the balloon..I love the way it came out! TFL! :)

Bows & Bunnies

Hi everyone! Today I made this cute bunny card for the Bitten by the bug -Winter Woodland Rabbit challenge. I had this perfect radish/carrot paper to go with the bunny...I really like how it came out (it was nice and simple!). I cut the bunny from Winter Woodland and inked along the edges and used chalk for a hint of pink and gave her a red bow. And the scallop is from the new Easter cart. and I embossed that w/the cuttlebug.TFL!
