I had so much fun making my layout of my hubby and I. I used some fun October Afternoon Campfire papers and coordinating stamps & alphas and I used my Cricut with the Camping Critters cartridge for the little mountain scene.

I also used the Graphically Speaking Cricut cartridge to cut my title and them embossed it.

PKS-Let's Face it Friday-Old School

Hey there! Today is the Let's Face it Friday challenge over on the Peachy Keen Challenge blog. The theme this week is "Old School" -creating a project based on the year you graduated and make sure to "Peachify" with a fun face! 

This was kind of a hard challenge..I was trying to think of the things that went on when I gradutaed (in 2004, so it wasn't that long ago)..but I just decided to go with a senior year layout. I actually made a graduation LO back in the day when I first started scrapbooking and I had to laugh at the way I used to scrapbook..boy have my skills improved! lol..

Aww I was so young here..only 18!

I made a little scene at the botton of my page by paper peicing the school/bus from the pattern paper and I used my cloud punch and my button maker.

Let's Face it Friday Challenge & some EAD cuteness!

Hey there! Wow this week has flown by! It's been a very scrappy week for me, I think I will take the weekend to relax! :) ....so today is the 17th Let's Face it Friday Challenge at the Peachy Keen challenge blog. This week the theme is to create a patriotic card representing your country. Remember to join in this challenge you have to use a PKS face  on your project!

Here's my shape card, representing the good ol' U-S-of-A!

I'm lovin the way this turned out! It was a fun one to make too! Here's some details..

The little boy is from the Playtime cartridge..his flag was acutally a net, but I thought it looked close enough to a flag, and it worked! The star I cut from A Chlid's Year, but I think there are a few stars on other carts too. I wanted a zigzagy scallop circle and the only cartridge I found that on was the Easter 2010 seasonal cart..and the 'freedom' is from the Graphically Speaking cartridge.

The pattern papers are from a few differnet collections..MyMindsEye, MarthaStewart, K&Co..and the 'freedom' is on glittery white cardstock (but it's kinda hard to tell). And the USA stickers are by Cosmo Cricket.

The face I used is from the PK-460 Happy Lashes assortment..I think those are my current favies right now...lol..I hope you like it!

So I couldn't resist making this little card...it cracks me up! :)

I wasn't planning on making anything for today, but I saw this adorable little catus from the American Alphabet cartridge ((it comes loaded on the Cricut E2)) and I just had to cut him out! lol...I actually am hispanic but my family never really celebrated this holiday, but I know a lot of people do..so for those of you who do celebrate..Have FUN!!  ..hope you like my card!  :)

BBTB2-'Dear Santa..'

Hello again! I'm back with this weeks BBTB2 project. This week the Design Team was asked to use the Pointed Finger from the Graphically Speaking cartridge. I wasn't sure what to do with this at first but, since I'm trying to get some Christmas cards done I thought I could wiggle this little finger in somewhere..lol!!

 

I found the image from the Tim Holtz blog from THIS post and I knew right away it would go perfectly with the new Scrappy Mom's Stamps. The sentiment is from the Winter Wishes stamp set. I even gave Santa and the little girl a little bit of blush! :)

4th of July Owls...

Hi everyone! I just finished making this layout and couldn't wait to share it with you all..I just love the end result! I used my new Hoot n' Holler lite cart and a few other carts also. I don't really do pre-made layouts too often, but I think I might start doing that, because I have been so bad at printing out my pictures lately!  It's for Natalie's 1st 4th of July, I'm gonna be so happy this is already done, all I will have to do is glue her pics right on and call it done! ....

I think I may have gone a lil crazy with the doodling, but I don't think she will care! lol...For the 'fourth of July' I used the Graphically Speaking cartridge and for the brad in the flower I used the Itop brad maker (the flower is from one of the owls).

These owls are super cute! I made them into patriotic owls to go with the theme...

The little red starts are stamped..

I learned how to make this banner from one of my scrapbook mags..basically you just use your circle punch and fold them in half and staple.

The 'Hooray!' is cut from Cuttin'Up cartridge along with the title (My First...)...

And all of the stars are from Plantin SB.
So what do ya think? Super cute! It's perfect for the 4th! Now we just need to have a good day so I can get some cute pics of Natalie! Thanks for stopping by! And I hope you all have a great 4th of July weekend! :)

Let it Snow

Another BBTB2 challenge for me! I'm loving doing these challenges! This week was to use the snowman from the Doodle Charms cart. So I decided this was gonna be a city snowman & I cut the cityscape from Plantin School Book, the lamp post was from Graphically Speaking,and the hat was from A child's year. I cut the snow freehand and embossed with the cuttle bug. I added some googly eyes, ribbon, and some brads for his buttons. TFL!

In Style Tag

Well I decided to do my 1st challenge..this is the "In style" BBTB2 challenge for this week. All of the creations on that blog are amazing and all of the designers are so talented! You should definitely check it out if you have a chance! So what I did was cut the tag from Sweet treats and embossed w/my cuttlebug and inked the edges. Next I cut the cute outfit from New Arrival and added some bling. And lastly the saying is from Graphically Speaking.
