Jumpy Jump

Hey there! So today I have another baby layout to share! Woohoo! Two done in one week! Talk about getting caught up! lol...seriously though..I just got 300 photos developed, now that adds to my stash of about 1,000 pictures to scrap (and that's just for my daughter!). Eeek! I'm never gonna be caught up!
I need to focuss a little more of my time into layouts now instead of cards, just to give you all a heads up, you might be seeing more of them in the near future! :)

Ok, onto todays's page. This was of my daughter when she was about 5 months old and she was having a blast jumping in those jumpy chair things you hang in the doorway. I also added some fun Cricut cuts at the bottom of the page.

I hope you like my layout and hopefully it inspires you all to scrap a little more before you really run waaay behind like me! lol... :)

I know I've mentioned before that when I make layouts I love to get inspiration from sketches. I don't have a certain website that I go to, I just look around and try out the ones I like.
This sketch is from The Scrappiest (sketch #100)..

Have a great weekend!

Natalie's bday, a baby layout, BBTB2 and winners announced!

Hi everyone! I've got a lot to share today so I hope you stick around! ;)

So yesterday was my daughter's FIRST birthday! Yep, I officially have a one year old! I can't believe it! Everyone told me that time flies by so much faster once you start having kids, and it is soo true!! I took her to go watch Tangled (she loved it and danced on the singing parts), we did a little bit of Christmas shopping and them came home and she had her 1st taste of birthday cake! Which went everywhere..even her belly button! LOL...She is such a sweet little girl and so much fun to be around! She is my little partner in crime and she just brightens my day! :) She actually just started walking a week before her bday and she is moving like crazy!
She looked so cute with this Panda hat on, I had to get it for her bday.
Told you..cake everywhere!
Natalie and daddy..
I love her! :)

I have a baby layout I made awhile ago but never got around to posting it. I thought today would be the perfect day for it. It's one of those 'blinged out' type of LO's, I wanted it to look really 'fancy' and 'pretty' compared to my usually cutesy style.
It's titled 'Queen of Daddy's Heart'
and Natalie was only 3 days old here, this was the day she came home from the hospital.

I really liked this one, I don't know why I waited so long to post it. The 'Queen' is welded together from the Once Upon a Princess cart and the 'of daddy's' is from Simply Sweet font cart, all of the flourishes are from the Stretch Your Imagination cart and welded to a big circle. I used printed transparencies for the corners and used eyelets to adhere them.

Since we were so busy yesterday I totally forgot to post my BBTB2 card! duh!..lol..So the challenge was to use either ornament from the Winter Frolic cart and the sentiment 'Deck the Halls'..I didn't have a lot of free time, so my card is kinda simple..but cute! ;p I used the PK Snow Cuties.

A little bit of stickles makes it all better! ;p
Ok, almost done here! :)

I have 2 winners to announce!
The 1st winner is for the EAD Face Stickerz, I got 46 comments and the random winner is..

I love that you used little images - I want to do the same - so if you post the images that would be helpful. I know I only have a couple more days to make mine- I do not have any Peachy Keen stamps and they make the images whimsical and fun.
thanks Sheryl

Jeepers Creeepers I have a Winner!

Hi everyone! I have a lucky winner from Momo's Bday Bash blog hop!
The random winner is ...Saundra from Luv Scrapping Together!
Woo-hoo congrats Saundra you just won some Peachy Keen stamps! I will contact you soon!
I just want to thank everyone who commented, I was amazed at the amount of comments I got! And thank you to all of my new and old followers, you guys are amazing! I will have to do another big giveaway soon, now that I have reached 800 followers! WOW! I can't believe my eyes..800 followers for little ol' me..that's crazy! :) :) :)

So, onto today's card...I played with the Peachy Keen Mini Ghost stamp, colored it with my trusty colored pencils and added some stickles on the pumpkins. I wanted them to look like they were flying out of the giant Jack-o-lantern. The pumpkin is cut from the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge and the face is from the PK Jack-o-lantern faces. I made a few score lines on the pumpkin to give it more dimension and cut the sentiment from some K&Co. paper...

Well, that's it for today, I hope you like my card! Have a fabulous day! :)

BBTB2-Ice Cream and a Blog Hop!

Hello and thanks for stopping by my blog! Today is Monday which means it's BBTB2 day! And today is also our monthly blog hop! If you came from the very talented Jeannie (A Place for my Cards) then you are in the right spot! So this week the design team was asked to use the ice cream cone from the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. I'm so happy we got to do this cut, because it's just perfect for summer. I decided to do a card with a matching gift bag.
I did lots of embossing, inking and stickles! And each of the cherries has diamond glaze for some shine!

The sentiments are from  the Sweet Somethings stamp set by Scrappy Mom's Stamps.
For the gift bag I stamped the cherries and added a cute tag along with some twine to tie it all together.

I just love the end result!
Ok, now it's time to hop over to the very very sweet and talented Donna (Popsicle Toes), if you get lost along the way you can always head back to BBTB2 !

BLOG CANDY!!!!
*I will also be giving away a goody bag of some of  my favorite things! So if you would like a chance to win just make sure you are a follower and leave a comment to this post and I will pick a random winner on Wednesday night! Thank you and have fun hopping!

Summer Card -Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge

Hi everyone, I have one more post for the night. I saw earlier that Emma from My Creative Time was extending the time to enter her Throwback Thursday Challenge so I thought I would give it a try. This week the challenge is to use blue, brown and red along with using the Stretch Your Imagination cart...lucky for me that's another cart I have in my pile! She wanted us to think out side of the box and do something original, so I decided to weld a few of the images together. The frame, watermelon and 'summer' are all from SYI. I came up with this pretty quick, but I love end result!
Hope you like it...and I hope I win she's giving away a cute set of Peachy Keen stamps that I've been wanting! TFL! :)

Flowers and Swirls

Hi everyone..here's a card I made for the BBTB2 challenge this week. We have to use the swirl from Strech Your Imagination. I surprized myself when I made this card...I was just messing around on my gypsy trying to think of something to do and I just flipped one of the swirls and I loved the way it looked like a heart in the middle..so I went with it and I love the result! This was also my first attempt at threading string through buttons..it was pretty simple and I like the added touch it gives. Well hope you like it! TFL!

Love My Grandma

Hi everyone, I'm back! Woo-hoo! I feel like I have been away from the blogging world for so long! Well I am finally moved into my new house and I already have my craft room all ready to go ((that was the 1st room I unpacked! lol))..I will have to show you all pics of my new space..it's so great, I looove it!! I couldn't believe how much scrapbooking stuff I have, I must have packed up about 10 boxes! wow!..but I have been scrapbooking for about 6 years now, so I have quite a collection of things! I can't wait to get in there and start creating, for now I just wanted to share a layout I did a few weeks ago for my MIL, it's of her and Natalie when she was just a few days old. I used Lyrical Letters for the words, SYI for the swirls, and A Child's Year for the 'sweet'.  I also stamped the cute little deers and pop dot those and added the prima flowers. Ok hopefully that will hold you over until I make something new! lol! TFL!

Spring Chick-a-dees

Hi everyone...so here's a fun spring card. I made it for the Cricut Cardz Challenge #13 (to make a 9x4 card). This is  my first time making a card this size so I had plenty of room to fill up! And I think I may have gone a lil overboard...lol..but I think it's super cute! I'm also entering it into the BBTB2 -Cutting Cafe contest-we just have to do a springtime project w/the color orange. So here I used Stretch Your Imag. for the card base, the frame and the birdies. And everything else was stamped. I love the way the flowers came out...and the lil ladybugs are so cute..well thanks for taking a look! :)

Cupid

This might be my last v-day card unless little Natalie lets me make another. I love the way this came out...the cupid is from Sweethearts, the flourish is from Stretch your Imag. and the frame is from Storybook. The bg paper was stamped and I added a lot of bling and glitter. TFL!

Couple in Love

So I'm trying to get an early start on my Valentines cards. Here's my 1st one..I welded everything w/my gypsy. I looove the cut of the couple from Sweethearts , I had to use it! The swirly frame is from stretch you imagination, and the letters are from storybook. The heart is pop doted and its from doodle charms. For the background I used vellum and embossed it. Hopefully I can get more V-day cards done...at least for the ones I love! lol! :) TFL!
