Hi everyone! :)
Since Peachy Keen Stamps has been busy blog hopping all weekend we had to push back our Let's Face it Friday post! So here we are today..the challenge this week is all about Sunshine...my favorite thing!
We were asked to create a project that radiates the suns warmth of course using our Peachy faces.

Sunshine to me means lazy days at the beach soaking up the sun, especially these last dog days of summer. Here's my card for inspiration...

Hope you likey! :)

PKS-Let's Face it Friday-Old School

Hey there! Today is the Let's Face it Friday challenge over on the Peachy Keen Challenge blog. The theme this week is "Old School" -creating a project based on the year you graduated and make sure to "Peachify" with a fun face!
This was kind of a hard challenge..I was trying to think of the things that went on when I gradutaed (in 2004, so it wasn't that long ago)..but I just decided to go with a senior year layout. I actually made a graduation LO back in the day when I first started scrapbooking and I had to laugh at the way I used to scrapbook..boy have my skills improved! lol..

Here's my new page..
((sorry for the bad lighting, that's what I get for taking my pics late at night! ))
I used the PK-590 Blushing Bride assortment for my grad-gal
Aww I was so young here..only 18!

I made a little scene at the botton of my page by paper peicing the school/bus from the pattern paper and I used my cloud punch and my button maker.

I hope you like it! If you want to join in the challenge you can make anything from the year you gradutaed..from music you listen to, your hairstyle, clothes, your car..anything! As long as you add a Peachy Keen face to it!

Click HERE for all the details and check out the fun projects from the DT!

PKS -Let's Face it Friday Challenge -Flower Power

Hey, hey everyone! I'm back with my 2nd post of the day. You can scroll down to see my 1st post, you don't want to miss it! :)
So I'm back because today is Let's Face ot Friday over at the Peachy Keen Stamps challenge blog. This week the challenge is to create a project with a handmade flower, also if you want to join in
*your project must be new
*must include a Peachy Keen face/faces
*Link up before April 1st
Easy peasy! :)

Here's my take on the challenge ((this has some serious cute-ness going on, just to warn you! lol..))
PKS also now sells bling! Yep! That's where I got mine from, I just trimmed mine a little to fit with the adorable birdie. And that sentiment is so perfect with Natalie's expression, that comes from the EAD-Fly Away with Me stickerz.

The little girl is even holding a flower..

To make my handmade flowers I used my good ol' Cricut for some help. I cut them from the Walk in my Garden cartridge, layered each one twice. I spritz each with Pearl glimmer mist and then added stickles in the coordinating colors (only on the darker parts). To make the ends curl up, I used my stylus and rounded the 'corners' and added some gems for a final touch.

I really love the way this came out, another one going on my fave list!
Hope it brought a smile to your face! :)

I hope you all can join in, this is a fun challenge...and the prize is pretty awesome! You could win the Happy Lashes (1 1/8th) or the Dolly Dumplins (1 1/8th) faces! How sweet would that be!
Make sure you pop over to see what the talented DT made! Have a great day! :)

P.S. I got some inspiration from THIS cute frame!

Jumpy Jump

Hey there! So today I have another baby layout to share! Woohoo! Two done in one week! Talk about getting caught up! lol...seriously though..I just got 300 photos developed, now that adds to my stash of about 1,000 pictures to scrap (and that's just for my daughter!). Eeek! I'm never gonna be caught up!
I need to focuss a little more of my time into layouts now instead of cards, just to give you all a heads up, you might be seeing more of them in the near future! :)

Ok, onto todays's page. This was of my daughter when she was about 5 months old and she was having a blast jumping in those jumpy chair things you hang in the doorway. I also added some fun Cricut cuts at the bottom of the page.

I hope you like my layout and hopefully it inspires you all to scrap a little more before you really run waaay behind like me! lol... :)

I know I've mentioned before that when I make layouts I love to get inspiration from sketches. I don't have a certain website that I go to, I just look around and try out the ones I like.
This sketch is from The Scrappiest (sketch #100)..

Have a great weekend!
