PKS -Let's Face it Friday Challenge -Think Spring

Happy Friday everyone! It's time for another Peachy Keen Let's Face it Friday!

This week the challenge is to 'Think Spring'

Create a Spring-inspired handmade gift using your Peachy Keen Faces!
Gifts can be anything: card sets, treat buckets, takeout boxes, decorative basket,  you decide!

I had a lot of fun with this challenge because Spring is one of my favorite times of the year!

Ready for my project?..it's super cute!
I altered a mini birdhouse, it's perfect to give to someone special ((or in my case..keep for yourself!))

Sorry.. I went a little picture crazy..I had to get every angle! lol..I love the way it came out. I think it's my favorite project so far this year! :)

Here's some details:
I used the PK-Critter Faces med. for the owl and it's from Hoot 'n Holler. For the flowers I used the PK-Snow Cuties faces assort. and those are from Give a Hoot. The birdhouse has a little heart cutout so I used my hot glue gun to frame it with baker's twine and also wrapped twine around the peg and topped it off with a lil' button. I thought the fence looked so cute, I cut those from the Paper Doll Dressup cart...for the edges I used a border punch, and to finish off the house I HAD to add a little banner and then used my label maker for the 'Home tweet home'...oh and all the patern papers are by DCVW. I used my ATG gun to adhere all the papers down and then sanded down the edges with a nail file..super easy!

Hope you like it!
Make sure you pop on over to the PKS challenge blog and see what the rest of the talented DT made, and make sure you give our guest designer this week ((Kimmy)) some love!

The winner for this challenge will get 3 glimmer mist!!
I would love to win these! ;)

Good luck, and have an awesome weekend!

Little Hooters Mini Album!

Hi there...yes I made a mini album with hooters! hehe LOL...I thought it was time for another! And for this mini I used the Hoot n' Holler Lite Cart and I did lots and LOTS of stickles and doodles and tags and stamping, flowers...and much more! I welded everything with my Gypsy and layered all the pieces from there. I kinda did the same technique with this one as my Zoobaloo mini. It measure 5x6 inches and has 5 pages and 4 tags. Take a peek...
Behind each page is a stamped sentiment and a tag with a lil flower...
Hoo-ray for Scrappy Mom's Stamps! :)
And lots of ribbon and twine to finish it off!
Well there's my newest mini, I really LOOOVE Hoot n' Holler, I guess I didn't realize how much I love owls until now..lol!

*If you'd like to see all of my mini albums click HERE. And if you'd like a tutorial on a similar mini I've made click HERE.

**Also if you'd like a chance to win some blog candy you still have the rest of today to comment HERE and I will annouce the winner tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day! :)

Some fun projects!...

Hi there I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday! Today I want to share some things I have been working on in my craft room, the first is an altered canvas using the Live Simply Lite cart and lots and lots of modge podge! Next I have some cute fabric brads I made for my Esty shop using the itop and I had to make a 'Christmas in July' card just for the fun of it! So here we go!... Here is my canvas..

This was lots of fun making and surprisingly easy! It measures 10x8inches and I basically just laid everything down where I wanted and blobbed on the modge podge!
I'm sure I will be making more of these soon, it's like a little piece of art! :)

Here are the cute fabric brads I made and I put together a little tag and package for my shop!
Isn't the packaging too cute! :p ....I did want to do a mini tutorial on how to make these but it just wasn't working out so here is a video I found you can check out if you want -on how  to use the Itop!

Ok now for my 'Christmas in July' card using Hoot n Holler..
Simple but cute!
Alrighty, there's my fun projects for today! I hope you liked them and make sure you all come back tomorrow for the monthly BBTB2 blog hop.. I will be giving away some fun blog candy and I have another super cute project to share!

Another Owl card & a Mini Tutorial...

Hi everyone, I have another cute owl card I made using the Hoot & Holler Lite cart. And I also wanted to share a mini tutorial on how I make my cloud paper. I am loving all things with clouds these days(if you haven't already noticed!) and I can never find enough patterned papers with them, so that's why I make my own. Here is the card..I also used Wild Card for the scallop circle card...
I can't get enough of this cartridge! I think it's worth the $$$!...and here is the inside...

Now onto the mini tutorial...for this card I used the clouds from Create a Critter and I just randomly placed  them onto the circle layer of the scallop card..
I do not weld them! Just place them right on top. This is how it looks cuts...
and then layered onto white cardstock..
And now you have the perfect cloud paper! :)
Thanks for stopping by!

4th of July Owls...

Hi everyone! I just finished making this layout and couldn't wait to share it with you all..I just love the end result! I used my new Hoot n' Holler lite cart and a few other carts also. I don't really do pre-made layouts too often, but I think I might start doing that, because I have been so bad at printing out my pictures lately!  It's for Natalie's 1st 4th of July, I'm gonna be so happy this is already done, all I will have to do is glue her pics right on and call it done! ....
I think I may have gone a lil crazy with the doodling, but I don't think she will care! lol...For the 'fourth of July' I used the Graphically Speaking cartridge and for the brad in the flower I used the Itop brad maker (the flower is from one of the owls).
These owls are super cute! I made them into patriotic owls to go with the theme...
The little red starts are stamped..
I learned how to make this banner from one of my scrapbook mags..basically you just use your circle punch and fold them in half and staple.
The 'Hooray!' is cut from Cuttin'Up cartridge along with the title (My First...)...
And all of the stars are from Plantin SB.
So what do ya think? Super cute! It's perfect for the 4th! Now we just need to have a good day so I can get some cute pics of Natalie! Thanks for stopping by! And I hope you all have a great 4th of July weekend! :)
